Stefano Galleano has been a partner of P.L. Ferrari since 2008 and is one of the Claims Department Managers. He has built up over 35 years’ of experience in dealing with P&I and FDD claims after having joined P.L. Ferrari in 1988 before its partnership with Lockton. He Graduated at the nautical institute of Genova where he then went and spent a year in the Navy. After having completed the year he Began working as a Ship Broker and in the Marketing department, for a major Italian firm, where his interests in the sector scaled. He officially joined P.L. Ferrari at just the age of 21 where he grew and became one of P.L. Ferrari’s most experienced Claim Handlers.

Stefano directly handles P&I and FDD Claims and for Lockton P.L. Ferrari along with his team and specializes in Offshore Claims sector. He has handled Milestone Claims such as the ‘Perro Negro 6’ that presented itself a game changer for the P&I Offshore Industry and has learnt the industry back to front.
