Maria graduated in Business Economics and achieved a master degree in "Administration, Finance and Control" from the University of Genoa in 2018.

She joined P.L. Ferrari & Co. in December 2022 with the role of executive in the Administration Department after gaining four years' experience in one of the "big four" accounting firms as a Supervising Senior Auditor. During her previous employment, she gained experience in auditing the financial statements and reports of the major national and international companies and corporate groups operating in various sectors, including shipping and insurance. In addition, she has acquired a good knowledge of National and International Accounting Standards.

In Lockton P.L. Ferrari & Co. she takes care of accounting related matters, preparing monthly reports and maintaining relations with the parent company finance teams.
